On the fourth of July when I laid down my first rack of ribs on a little Weber Smokey Joe, on the campus of a seminary in the south, I had no idea where that would take me. I also had no idea what I was doing. But through trial and error, backyard parties, family gatherings and catering functions--and a lot of learning from superstar BBQ masters I finally found my way. From that first rack of ribs to today, the best part of this journey is how cooking outside brings people together.
While I was born and raised in Kansas City (Chiefs Kingdom!), schooling and vocation have taken me to different parts of the United States. After living many years in GA, OK, and IL we've made a home in the frozen tundra of Minnesota. The recipes developed here have taken their cues from all over the country.
This business was built to help bring new flavors to the table...and to bring people together. Saints & Sinners is for everyone--whether you're a backyard novice or BBQ champion.
